"From Iron to Innocence"
©2005

Here, painted upon an ancient cave wall, the tools for our liberation are proclaimed.

This is a representation of some core Feri tradition concepts... the Three Souls, the Black Heart of Innocence, and the Iron Pentacle. The points of the pentacle are represented by symbols personal to me: A winged phallus for Sex, a rose embodies the fierce and yet vulnerable openness of Pride, a single eye evokes the consciousness of Self, a lightning bolt conjures forth Power, while a simple heart holds the place of Passion. It is said that the Black Heart can emerge when the points of the Pentacle are in balance, and so here we see the heart burning with the Blue Fire often worked with in Feri, while the three souls are subtlety represented on the star with the colors red for fetch, white for talker, and blue for GodSelf.
