Atop the fly agaric mushroom the shaman sits, and smokes his sacred herbs that awaken the trance and call the visions. The ether itself comes alive with spirits and allies, but he is not distracted by their arrival. Instead he looks beyond the amazement of it all to see something more... something we ourselves are unable to see.

One of my first images, this reflects my deep love for the growing entheogenic movements that explore the connections between psychotropic plants, and religious experience.
