Sexual desire is a source of amazing spiritual power. When our bodies are aroused and receiving pleasure, we are better able to commune with our own primal natures; the doorway into understanding our own Divinity.
Here we see a young man in the throes of sexual bliss. From his sex emerges the ever blooming rose, speaking of things that are soft, beautiful, delicate, and vulnerable. Around him more roses bloom and spill out into a fiery display that emanates from his own sexual excitement. He is himself colorless, while around him is an explosion of fiery hues, drawing our attention to the energy itself and not the transient vessel for its manifestation. His eyes are closed, for this is an internal flame that radiates into the world. But for all the fire there is also the presence of water... the tiny droplets reminding us that sex and spirit are also fluid, luscious, and nurturing, as well as drawing association to sexual fluids as a conduit for magickal power.
