Here we see the ruins of Delphi, the famous oracular temple in which Priestesses of Apollo would speak their prophecy. Apollo (here shown as both the beautiful youth, as well as a traditional painting from a Greek vase) would later be associated with Helios, the God of the sun.

Apollo is associated with male beauty, law, order, music, and healing. He defeated the dragon Python, and like many other Olympian Gods, was known to have love affairs with other men.
